SideBar is a fantastic spot! The decor is simple and gives an great atmosphere. The food is exceptional! Loaded sweet potato fries were great! The siracha maple sauce adds just the right kick. The Cali chicken sandwich and SideBar fries were delicious! The bread on the sandwich was perfect! And the fries had everyone stealing from my plate. Will definitely be back!

This place simply knows how to treat their clients. Regularly with a very nice mindset. The food is reasonably priced, always delightful and neat.
Unexpected delightful brunch! Great coffee and food. Highly recommend if you have not tried Sidebar's brunch, DO IT
Worst service I’ve ever had. Was given a 20 minute wait time for brunch. 40 minutes go by. We come back and hostess claimed she called us for our spot in line. No missed call and no voicemail. We put our names back on the list and wait another 15 minutes. We get seated and the server takes forever to get our drink order, drops off our drinks, we don’t see her for 15 minutes. She finally comes back and says “did y’all want anything else?”so we order , she brings our food out and puts it in the wrong spots and walks away. Has not checked on us. The entire staff Could not seem less interested in customers here. Absolutely horrid, awful experience.
You want to love this place. It's cute and charming, interesting rooms and decks, great neighborhood, parking, would love to see live music or a projected movie.... but the service is pretty bad. Short staffing happens, the guests shouldn't have to feel it that much. There was an excellent waiter - didn't get his name, unfortunately, who gave us professional, friendly and light service, and when we couldn't see their wi-fi signal he recited the menu to us! Happy Hour starts at 3, good discounts. Nothing special or unique for non-alcoholic drinks but that's common. (Winter Warmers? It's Dry January and cold out there!) I managed restaurants for years, so I'm aware and understanding about how chaotic the business is. We'll try again next time we're in town and update the review.
