Beautiful well looked after park besides Shuttleworth Plane Collection. Areas for picknick with families and friends facilities and huge parking. Lakes and fields will keep you occupied if not in a uge rush. Great place to spend the day chilling out.

Really enjoyable visit. We booked and paid online and then showed our tickets to the nice man on the gate. He gave us a brief outline of the site and told us where to park, then a friendly staff member directed us in to a parking spot. Easy access to the gardens, paths are great for buggies and wheelchairs. Beautiful gardens and friendly staff. The Grotto and some of the buildings are not open due to Covid regulations. The 15 a head ticket is valid for a month, so you can return as many times as you wish, which is great value, especially if you are local.

Little gem: a great way to entertain and delight yourself and young children. I took my 8 year old son here. We started with a ride on the back of a golf buggy, very covid safe, which dropped us at the Swiss Gardens. This magical regency gem is a full of surprises-quaint little buildings, a proper old wooden toilet (not functioning) and was clearly created to be a sort of fairy garden. It is brimming with gorgeous plants, a dog cemetery (really interesting with names/dates going back into the 1800s), bridges across various water features, a little cafe, incredibly clean toilets (with paper to dry your hands! 10/10 for hygeine), robins galore. We did an elf trail and it was really enchanting for a couple of hours. We peeeped into the hangars and saw many fascinating planes which will be accessible to see when this dreadful pandemic is over. The staff were all lovely at all levels. Great way to entertain smaller children if the older ones are in Chickands Bike Park!! Beautiful parkland and country house (you can't go in the latter but you can see it). You can do the Lakeside and Woodland walks and your ticket is good for one month from the date of purchase-what's there not to like?

Great day. First visit here and very impressed. Well managed covid precautions. There were a few planes going up which added to the experience. Will definitely be calling again when the restrictions are lifted and the cafe reopens. Grand daughter absolutely loved it, seeing the ducks, swans, geese etc and the peacock of course.
