I called to place an order & the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude, after I eventually managed to get her to understand what I was ordering, she told me that wasn't enough and hung up on me. I called back 5 minutes later after having asked her if they were delivering the 1st time I called. She then said they weren't. The whole time she was incredibly rude and wasted a 1/2 an hour of my life to accomplish nothing. I will never ever order from here again, despite their food being good nor will I recommend it to anyone ever.

Shumai Wok is by far one of the best Chinese food places around. I wasn't quite feeling like going out to eat, so I ordered delivery for myself and my mom. 2 orders of cheese wontons (crab rangoon), a small order of wonton soup, a small order of boneless barbeque ribs, a small order of sweet and sour chicken with white rice, and an American dream roll. The roll was better than expected. It has a little bit of spice to it thanks to the sauce (spicy mayo was used, even though the website says sweet mayo) and it arrived in good condition. The roll tastes WAY better than it looks, and doesn't even need any soy sauce. Usually with Chinese places, sweet and sour sauce isn't sour at all (a major peeve of mine). Their sauce is sweet and sour; when you open the lid, you can smell the vinegar that gives the sauce its sour taste. The chicken was so tender that I honestly thought it was mostly breading at first. I had to bite one in half and I couldn't believe it!! It was almost like biting into a cloud with a delightfully crunchy outer shell. The ribs were amazing; sweet and saucy, yet smokey and savory. They're tender with a little bite... absolutely perfect. I could probably eat the whole order of ribs myself! I've seen some reviewers say the rice is like glue. It's really not; this white sticky rice is still fluffy and the grains separate pretty easily. I gave the wonton soup to my mom, but I did take a spoonful of the broth (I kinda wish I got my own now). It's WAY better than most places, definitely a nice, savory soup if you're a fan of wonton soup. I think it's pretty clear that everything was made fresh, which is probably why it took an hour to get here. The wait was SO worth it. I will definitely be making Shumai Wok my go-to if I'm craving Chinese food again.
I ordered here for the first time tonight. it is by far the best Chinese food that I have had since I moved to Penndel a little over a year ago. My son said that I better never order from anywhere else. The food arrived very quickly and was hot. The taste was even better! Everyone was very happy with their food. This is now my family's go to restaurant for Chinese selections. I have never tried Japanese or Thai, but when I do it will definitely be from Shumai Wok.
Best sushi in the area! Highly recommended. I ordered sashimi roll last night, it was very good and very fresh.My fiancé loves their general tso chicken with pork fried rice.
At the moment you come to this place team give you an agreeable feeling. Very congenial team, it is a happy place to pass time with buddies or with your date. Excellent cooking, experienced chef, good pay and generous service. Highly recommended.
