Shuga's is a small yet cozy diner in Colorado Springs that takes its culinary inspiration from all over the globe. The menu at Shuga's takes classic dishes and comfort food from the world over and makes them unique to this small Colorado diner. On the appetizer menu alone, diners can sample Brazilian coconut and shrimp soup, a plate of house-made hummus and pita chips or freshly made bruschetta. This willingness to embrace all cultures extends to the cocktail menu as well. Shuga's has great house alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks alike. A hot lemon ginger tea is the perfect way to warm up in the fall, or if you like a little more punch, the lavender blossom martini is a huge hit with everyone who tries it.

I come here semi-regularly (6 times a year or so). Every time I've visited, the food is fresh, the staff are extremely friendly and always have answers to my questions! Shuga's menu is flexible enough for anything from a quick bite to eat to celebrating special occasions such as Valentine's Day, birthdays, etc. If you drink, their cocktail menu and bar are absolutely worth browsing. With a set of regular cocktails they also provide seasonal options throughout the year. Cocktails including Gin, Tequila, Bourbon, Brandy, wine, and more are available. From appetizers to desserts, Shuga's is a must-visit in Colorado Springs!

I showed up rights as they opened, and it got fairly busy by the time I left. I sat outside which was pleasant. I ordered four different bruschetta, and each was delicious. The Cuban sandwich I got was fantastic as well. I also ordered the lil cricket and Shuga smash. The lil cricket was a little too sweet at first, but after the ice melted a bit it was very tasty. The Shuga smash was mellow and had great flavor.

I am absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and service this place provided. everybody's food looked, smelled, and tasted delicious! The creative combination of flavors, eclectic decoration and down to earth cool people running the place made this one of my best 2021 restaurant experiences! The server we had was unbelievably friendly and easy to get along with. They have this ginger tea they make in house that is to die for and a highly recommend request if you visit!. I can't say a bad thing about this restaurant and give it five stars hands down!

Love the vibe, love the service, love the food! My only complaint is that they don’t sell their house-made ginger lemon tea as a concentrate to-go. I live in Denver and would come back just for another cuppa!

Such a cool, cozy place with amazing, delicious, unique food. Try the coconut shrimp soup plus almond better cake for desert. You won’t regret it. Oh, and ask for Shell to be your server because she is not only charming and delightful but takes excellent care of her tables! Thanks for a lovely evening with friends!
