Spent an entire day here. It's beautiful. If the weather is nice, there is so much to explore. From long walks on the river side to peaceful walks in meadows. I even got to see a few lambs close up. Overall I had a very good experience. If you visit the tourist centre first you can buy a little map based on how much you would like to walk. They have different maps with walk routes tailored to different people's choices. I chose a 10 miles one but at the end gave up as it was too late. But I had a very fun and exciting adventure :)

Beautiful area with stunning views over Shropshire. Accessible to all on foot, bike, horseback or vehicle. Great place to green lane too! I visit regularly with friends and colleagues throughout the year. Although in winter in bad weather access may be restricted and the snow gates locked. Various small car parks are dotted around the area making parking easy and available across the hills. No facilities on the hills, closest ones im Church Stretton.

One of Shropshire's special places. A nice place to experience wild and beautiful scenery. Great place if you like it's remoteness. It does attract a lot of visitors now, which can make for busy access roads and in certain areas, and difficulties parking. Due to its popularity. If enjoying solitude and great scenery are your thing. Then visiting will probably suit you.

Beautiful valley, excellent walking - I'm not the best at hiking but the paths I followed were flat, good and wide and it was soooooo peaceful, even though there were other people about, walking dogs or just enjoying the great outdoors. There were plenty of paths up the sides of the valley for those wanting to extend themselves further. I walked for a couple of miles, had taken a book, so sat under a tree for a totally chilled out reading session. Flask of coffee in the car for my return. Perfect afternoon.
