Shrewsbury Cathedral is well worth a visit. A great blend of old and new architecture. Excellent access for wheelchairs etc. With a beautiful view from the city walls at the front of the Cathedral. It also has a lovely cafe, we enjoyed a delicious toasted teacake and lovely warm latte. Good toilet facilities and very clear visible COVID practice and information. Well done!

Shrewsbury Cathedral is a small, mid nineteenth century, Gothic revival church. It is a roman Catholic cathedral and holds regular services. The cathedral is smaller than some other churches in Shrewsbury, and off the beaten track but definitely worth visiting. Despite Shrewsbury not being a city, this church is still a cathedral as it is the seat of the Bishop of Shrewsbury.

Was a good visit all be it small for a cathedral... there was a very informative chap who took the time to walk round with us. Shame to see some Muppet in the 80's had white washed over some original wall art/decorations. The guy said they were looking at getting it put back to original... hopefully they will .. be good to see it back..

Beautiful building. This is a Catholic Cathedral with regular masses and serves as the main church for the wider parish. The bishop is I residence currently. The building itself has a rich architectural heritage some Pugin. There are fabulous stained glass windows. It us a friendly parish church with sympathetic clergy. A very nice, welcoming community.
