Stumbled onto Riverbank Bar & Kitchen by accident. What a great place! The food is superb; high quality ingredients cooked perfectly, served by really friendly and enthusiastic staff. Good value for money, and a lovely comfy place to spend some time. Really impressed, and will be coming again.

The food here was beautifully cooked and you can really tell it was home made. We reserved a table for mother's Day and when we asked whether it was child friendly they really reassured us that it was a family restaurant which was music to our ears. It was exceptionally busy on mother's Day (always a good sign!) but we got seated quickly. Unfortunately even though we reserved a high chair there weren't any available for us l, which was a bit annoying. That being said, as soon as one became available it was given to us straight away and the staff were extremely apologetic. It could probably do with having a few more spare, especially if it is a family restaurant. We would definitely eat here again and would 100% recommend, but I'd advise to book if It's during busy times. The picture of the burger is from the kids menu too! It really was delicious

We went to Shrewsbury for a romantic getaway. As it was a nice evening, we decided to have drinks by the river and came across this place. The restaurant gave us beautiful outside seats right next to the river. The service was stretched but given how busy they were with the limited staff, they deserve max points for efforts. The food was surprisingly perfect too!! We hadn't planned eating here but after seeing the menu and reasonable pricing, staying there for a meal made sense. I'd highly recommend this gem to anyone. The food, service and location were absolutely spot on

The food was great, cocktails were delicious, decor was cool, and had a good vibe, but it was a very busy evening and felt like maybe the tables were a bit too close together (it was before ule of 6\ came into effect though), and it wasn't easy to reach your table and go to the bathroom etc., without passing close by lots of other people. That might not bother everyone, but it did make me feel a little uncomfortable. That was the only negative though in an otherwise lovely evening.
