Did the night in the cells and found it so fascinating.Our tour guide mick who is an ex guard of the prison was fantastic. He gave such a great insight into the prison and I really enjoyed his talk in the execution room. Would thoroughly recommend it

We did a tour today a belated birthday present from my work, our guide Mick was brilliant, really good at bringing the prison to life with his tales. Enjoyed the day out so much will be back for other tours. Thanks for a great day Mick.
I went on a tour of this fine establishment, prior to the covid 19 pandemic, it was worth every penny spent, and with a guide who was a former warder it was a pleasurable experience.
We did the lights out tour of Shrewsbury prison and we both enjoyed it very much. Mick our guide and an ex prison officer who worked at the prison was very good and the stories he told us about the prisons past and up until it closed were very interesting. The tour ended in the execution room and again listening to Mick tell us all about the room and plenty of other things was excellent. A great tour would go back again.
Had the most wonderful visit with Graham who was a well of knowledge. He taught us more than we could have ever hoped to learn and made the tour so lively with his anecdotes and accounts as a former police officer. We really enjoyed it and we are very grateful to him for teaching us so much about the prison and his own experiences. Would recommend to anyone.
