Halls Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers

Quite the most professional auction house that I have used. Joseph Trinder was was extremely helpful and knowledgeable from our first meeting; sensibly valuing items in the current climate and ultimately achieving what I considered realistic prices. Lastly, he kept me fully informed through every stage and I will certainly consign suitable items to him in the future .

Halls has always been a professional organisation with friendly helpful staff, their ceramics expert, Caroline Dennard, particularly so. In the current coronavirus situation, the measures they have taken to ensure customers' safety are reassuring and very welcome.

After buying pictures at Hall's in October 2020, I had dealings with their picture expert Abigail Molenaar. As an art dealer who regularly buys pictures from numerous different auction houses, I often meet with a distinct lack of helpfulness with post-sale enquiries. Abigail was notably helpful and responsive and is a credit to Hall's.

Truly fabulous experience throughout, from expert identification/valuation/advice, excellent meeting/handover of item/publicity material/online auction (achieving above higher estimate hammer price) to follow up call to check all was well. All the above handled with a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly approach, especially in these difficult times. Thank you so much!
