It was good but I’ve had better. Will try again.

I’m doing 4 stars because my husband absolutely loved it. Service was great, his surf and turf was perfect. Oysters were some of the best we have ever had. However I’m not a fan of Melissa’s bbq shrimp. I wish I would have gotten something else, but the menu is very limited. I thought it was a little pricey for the food, but once again my husband completely disagreed. So I guess to each his own. Alcohol was well worth it.

This was my second time eating here. The first time I ate dinner but I can't recall what I ordered. This time I had brunch and the food was good. The service as well. The Grand Isle & Chicken and Waffles (A first) definitely get a stamp of approval. They've got a front patio out front also. recommend

My boyfriend and I came in on 03/20 around 5:45 and received terrible service and mediocre food. The 2 days before, we tried calling multiple times to make a reservation and the phone was never answered. So we assumed reservations weren’t needed, came in and the lady at the front didn’t greet us, just asked for reservations and rudely said we couldn’t make a reservation, that they were booked till 8. We went outside, went on their website and booked a reservation for 5:45 (there were many slots open) when we went back inside, hostess seemed annoyed and took us to our seat, where the waitress didn’t explain anything on the menu and barely greeted us. I had to wave her down to tell her what sauce I wanted. I got the steak which was very under seasoned and overall just bad. My boyfriend got the whole fish but for 55, it was tiny. As we sat, we also noticed that no one around us was getting the same treatment from our waitress. I don’t know if it’s because we’re young, but we were treated noticeably worse than everyone else. Very dissapointed because we’ve been to other of Franks locations and have received great service and food. We’d been here before about a year ago at lunchtime and it was amazing, so we were very dissapointed with tonight.

Food was mediocre and the service was absolutely terrible and slow during lunch time. Not worth returning for the prices paid. I have had far better food down and across the street.

Franks is fancy and flavor, a real high class join that still taste like Louisiana.

I recommend the charcuterie board and the crepe provenance. Both great dishes with great flavors
