Had lunch with friends. Two of us had vegan burger, salad and really good skin on chips. Delicious. Staff were very friendly. Definitely go again. Thank you guys. X

Great village pub with lots of character, great food & beer, good beer garden, real friendly patrons, if you are in the area recommend you call in. all locals welcome.
Under new management by a lovely local couple. Plenty of drinks to choose from and always has a nice atmosphere and good music. I had a burger and chips last I was there, with a side of onion rings which were all delicious. The burger was dense, juicy and full of flavour. The chips were skin-on with crisp edges and fluffy on the inside, and the onion rings were light, fresh, topped with chopped chives and gone in seconds. Truly tasty food. I also had a salted caramel brownie for dessert, which was so rich it could have killed a lesser man. While the food is a little more expensive than that of typical pub grub - it is a cut above and you do get what you pay for. 5/5 - will eat here and have to be rolled away again.
Really friendly local with good food. Decor is arguably a bit dated but there's something charmingly retro about the whole place. Seems to be under new management and the food was noticeably better on our most recent visit as a result.
Tasty, hot food. If having a roast dinner it comes with ample servings and a good selection of fresh seasonal vegetables with the obligatory roasties with extra gravy and condiments when required. Able to cater for groups of 20 comfortably with room to squeeze a few more in too. Musn't forget to mention their \Fish Friday\ when you can eat in or locals can take out too. Convivial staff, service with a smile. Definitely will be returning.
