Despite earlier reviews, the Hummingbird restaurant is indeed wheelchair friendly: there is a ramp up to a push-button activated the door. No issues. The food was decent enough and well priced, and and the service was very good indeed. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Brighton City Airport, Cecil Pashley Way, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 5FF, Sussex, England is also commonly known as Shoreham Airport. It is the oldest airport in the UK with a first flight recorded as taking-off from there in 1910. It presently has a CAA Public Use Aerodrome Licence that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction. Its 1930s Art Deco terminal building is listed grade II* and has been used regularly by film-makers seeking to portray a small town airport. It was in its role, as film location, that we first became intrigued by Shoreham when we saw it featured in an episode of TV's Poirot.
Cool airport, lots of history. Great cafe and has a mini museum which is really neat. Fuel team good fun, easy to navigate the taxiways - but watch out for deer in the area (and on runway) from time to time! 20 mins from Hove by taxi, bit more to Brighton.
Great service from the helpful staff, busy airport. There is a clear Covid policy in place with a one way system and check and trace. The food comes at a great price and with very good portions.
Got my PPL here in 1996. Many happy memories, Started my own flying school here and me my future wife.
