Shishlique of London is a charming little Turkish restaurant that’s all about barbequed meats and mezze. You’ll find Shishlique on Chamberlayne Road around Kensal Rise where the menu features as much for vegetarians as it does for meat lovers, and from it we’d really recommend ordering some hummus, dolma, baba ganoush and a few haloumi skewers to share around the table as a starter. Then, for your main, we’d have to recommend one of the sharing platters for two, three or four people, each of which arrive with a selection of chargrilled and skewered meats. Shishlique is a little gem and it’s also good for a drink. Reservations are wise.

We love going out. Yesterday we went to this delicious restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a delightful experience there with delicious cooking and an efficient crew and a professional chef. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we will surely go again soon. We deeply recommend.

We went on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was quite full with many takeaway orders. Although there were many customers, we didn't have to wait too long for food. It was nice to see the meat and dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen right next to the seating area. The portions were perfect and there was a good mix of salad, rice and meat. All the food was seasoned well and had a nice charred taste to them. The staff were very friendly and would highly recommend this place!

We arrived at this spot for dinner. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we felt very good. The meal was delicious. We loved this place very much and we will visit this place again. We recommend this place to all.

We went to the new Walworth road restaurant last night for the last night of Eat Out To Help Out scheme. Service was great with a smile, decor was nice with beautiful lights and food was great. Was really nice to get Sea Bream in the UK for once!

Sorry, I have never thought that I would leave this comment about food here, before today - and I am hoping this would not be same next time we come, as I understand the covid situation might have contributed to this. Personally, I love this place for indeed the fresh-est and best-cooked-turkish-style meats in London - and keep coming back here since 2018. Today the lamb wrap tasted like nothing before - even though all the ingredients seemed to be the same, it was smaller, and it was not that awesomest wrap ever, the taste was just 'blank', still trying to figure out why this could happen. Please get back to those awesome times again :)
