On Tuesday we were married in the Historic Courtroom at Shire Hall. From the lady registrars to the staff who acted as our witnesses, everyone was so kind and helpful ...A special mention goes to Tristan for organizing it all whilst he was working from home ...We are looking forward to the grand tour when the lock down is lifted ...So to a beautiful old building in our town ,and really helpful and professional staff ,thank you .We came home and raised a glass of bubbly to them all . Great facility in the heart of Monmouth. Free entry to look around the courtroom, basement jail, and much more. Beautiful architecture. Interesting and informative for all ages.
Interesting place to visit, full of great local history. Helpful well informed staff. Access to all levels via a multi door lift for people with different forms of mobility. Well worth a visit.
