Really nice, looked after area. The regeneration group have certainly worked hard here. Take my daughter occasionally for a walk around and sit in the bird watcher hut spying on the birds.

Caught some amazing snow today.. absolutely beautiful place .. ice-cream was a cherry on top!
Great place for walks if you love nature, the car park is available there but it's not too big. There is river, chairs and paths to talk with your dog or family.
Absolutely beautiful, my favourite walk, Dowley Gap to Baildon Green. Has everything you could wish for, birdsong, dappled sunlight falling through the trees, the river, the occasional canoeist or rower, cows in the open fields, ducks, geese, sometimes a heron. Lovely old mossy gnarled trees, little streams joining the river, a weir with the loud noise of rushing water.
Amazing for walks with flowing water, surrounded by trees.
