Nice little pub. Mostly locals but very friendly and spent a nice afternoon talking football with the barman Joe.

Used to have good beer but not now. No hot water to wash with but good supply of liquid soap. Usually cold and damp, no welcome, no service. Poor seating, no interest shown in the business. Very popular at times with locals that stand close together but best forgotten. Live music was years ago and the place is so small, more of a publicity campaign with the photo shoot. Many years ago there was a pool table but it was removed to increase seating for lunch tables. Pool is now played in the Royal Hotel, the other pubs didn't have the facility. ️
