Its quite expensive. Ticket for Mom-child was 1800yen for a 2 year old. You have to either take morning slot 10-12 or evening 1:30-330. There are a lot of toy based activities to entertain a child for 2 hrs. I made a mistake of spending time at the baby room with my 2 year old. The baby room is for 1 year old and lesser.. a big room with toys for babies to hold or crawl under a small tunnel. Dont spend more than 15 mins with 2 year old. 2nd floor has tree house sort of thing which kids can climb up and down. They have a big wooden holder full of small beads that kids can enjoy finding colourful ones. Lot of other smart wooden toys for children to play. 3rd floor had some good stuff most of which we missed due to bad time management. Though I wouldnt go again due to the price, i would recommend to try atleast once with kids under 4-5.

The entry fee was a bit high but my kids had a really good time so it was all worthwhile. The exhibition was an eye opener on how much kids' toys have changed. There used to be lots of wooden toys that would encourage problem solving or facilitate role playing. Nowadays kids just watch cartoons, then buy figurines of the characters.

Kids loved it. Heaps of cool toys probably best for kids 2-6. Had a workshop which was fun. Had a 2 hour window (possibly covid limitation) and easily filled it. Good idea to make a day and also go to the fire museum that is close to this as well.

A fun place to take your kids and for parents. Multiple floors and rooms dedicated to hand made wooden toys that are fun, educational, and really well designed. I’ve been there with kids ages 1-5 and they all love it. We’ve been twice and both times spent 3-4hours.

A very good place to engage the children. They have a good collection of toys to develop critical thinking, focus, and hands eye coordination. They even have workshop to teach children make simple toys. The caretakers of every toy room are very friendly, and helpful. Couple of vending machines are there for snacks and drinks. They also have a free play area for the toddlers to play outside.
