This is one of the best restraurants I have been to. The atmosphere is really cosy, the food is delicious, and the service is always excellent. The owner is incredibly friendly and goes over and beyond all expectations to make everyone welcome. He takes psrsonal care of every single customer personally and makes surr everything is outstanding. On our last visit, we were having a birthday party and he prepared a special menu just for us, themed around Sakura cherry blossoms, which were in season. He even prepared a birthday cake for us! This restaurant is a really special place for us and we visit for special occasions. It is a definite recommend if you are looking for a beautiful, comfy place with amazing service and exquisite food. Truly unique experience.

We tried two different radicchio starters. Excellent. We each chose a daily special for our mains. I had the sea bream, Pam had the beef cheek. Both were beautifully presented, full of interesting flavors, and delicious. Stefano himself was super nice and took time to chat with us about his life, his restaurant, and the neighborhood. After dinner, he even recommended a local bar to try. We went there and loved it. Our only hitch was for the wines by the glass. We prefer full-bodied reds, and Italian reds tend to be more medium bodied. Searching for a bolder red, Stefano's first recommendation was a promising 10-year old bottle. The wine had not turned, but it was brownish in color, and tasted like it had passed its peak. We asked for a different recommendation for our second glass. Stefano found an unusual bottle not normally sold by the glass. We both enjoyed it very much. All in all, a great dining experience.

Not much to complain about here, excellent food, excellent service. It really makes a difference when an owner is present and cares about their business. Will be back for sure. Oh and a special mention is deserved for the drinks served here. Best I have had in Japan so far. Proper cocktails.

Best Italian in Tokyo. Food, service, atmosphere are all great. This is not your usual bland, impersonal restaurant: Stefano personally takes care of guests. Only the best ingredients are used, and everything is made by hand. Last but not least, it's not at all expensive. Highly recommended.
