Randomly found this hole in the wall on Sunday night and my eyes lit up when they said they specialise in horse meat. A must try in Japan! Such a pleasant surprise. Made some amazing new friends! I tried an assortment of horse sashimi and I was blown away! Step outside your comfort zone & try something different! Can't recommend this place enough. Beautiful news owners, very helpful. Soooooo, after what was a nice meal we received a surprise on our bill. During the meal we were presented with a tofu ‘palate cleanser’ which we didn’t order but was fine. We then discovered this item was around 700 yen per person and the most expensive thing on our bill. We didn’t appreciate this unexpected cost and would warn others to be aware and would say to refuse this extra course.
This place makes you forget that you eat horse, because of their pride and skills , they serve really good food, with a fantastic enthusiasm and really Japanese authentic feeling. The place was packed the whole time we were there. Lovely people working there, and they know some English! Highly recommend this place for food and ambience.
