Beef is very very soft and tasty. I ordered high quality and standard beef for hot pot that are already excellent. Udon is included in set and it is also good quality. How surprise is the food in this small village!

I couldn't fault the food, the sukiyaki was fabulous, however it is quite expensive for what it is, so while it was very good, it didn't feel like a good value proposition as more than 10000 for a meal of sukiyaki and a single drink is hard to justify more than once. I enjoyed the cheaper "Aussie beef" meat more which was not what I expected.

Delicious beef with a very generous serving of sides - vegetables, mushrooms, tofu and noodles. A fab stop while at Nozawa Onsen. Be sure to get the local beef options.

Generous portions and the beef was decent quality. Taking off 2 stars for the far too loud atmosphere (my wife was sitting next to me and I couldn't hear her talk) and the lack of etiquette from the staff. Introduction amounted to "welcome but please be done eating by 8pm as we have a second seating". Immediately offputting. Would not go back again.

Food is OK but a bit pricy and service there needs improvement. They didnt serve water at first and provide bowls & soup spoon until you inform them. Not highly recommend
