It was a relaxing experience. We arrived and were given a straw hat which was kind of fun, and a lifejacket. The river reflected the sky like a mirror, it was very beautiful. On our trip we saw a turtle swim by our boat and we saw the common kingfisher flying in the trees. The guide gave us some information about the local wildlife in the area (in Japanese). Overall the entire experience took around 45 minutes. There is a toilet available in the building and a small vending machine where you can buy a drink.

Nice place to take a boat ride up the Shimanto river. The staff are friendly and give some good information about the river (Japanese only)
2500円の当日券、もしくは、予約サイトで2000円のチケットを購入して、乗船します。船頭さんは交代らしく、どの方にあたるかはお楽しみです(**)
あまりにも残念。 ただ四万十川の水面を漂うだけ。 せめて沈下橋の側まで行って説明するなりのサービスがなければ、観光遊覧船という看板を下ろすべき。
