Got to say wasn't disappointed. BUT get the best one they have, all the others feel a bit overpriced. Like they don't give you that sense of awe. I mean yeah, you could get udons even at the station for like 300yen so why bother coming here right. So if you come here, make it a special one. Get the best one. Take pictures of the udon. Take it with the tencho. Take it while eating. Make the biggest slurping sound you can and finally, make a big smile.

This was the first food I had on my trip to Japan and let me tell you that it was by far the best of the best. Great Udon!!! You’ll always find a line but trust me, it’s worth the wait. You make a line, while you’re on the line they’ll come to take your order and they’re pulling people in by groups so expect to wait a bit depending on the day and time you get there. Summary: Awesome food!!! Just go and prove me wrong!

This was my most anticipated meal in Tokyo and it did not disappoint! The tempura was light and crispy and the noodles were chewy and so fresh. The Sapporo was top notch and ice cold. We were very lucky and did not have to wait at all for 2 seats. We dined on a Wednesday evening at 5:30pm. I really don't think there is a bad dish on the menu. I had the cold noodles and my wife had the hot, both were delicious.

One of the best udon place! And they have varieties of cold and hot udon too! Will definitely come back and try other menus!

We went around noon on a Tuesday and waited for about thirty minutes. The place is tiny, had ten seats inside with option for plus two at tables for groups of three. The noodles and the broth were both fantastic. I had the noodle soup with beef and burdock tempura, my husband had the salt, pepper, butter with soft boiled egg with added beef. My choice was the classis choice, his more modern, but both were amazing. We also had the shrimp and vegetable tempura; also super great. I thought I was done with waiting in line for food but this place was legitimately worth it. It was mostly tourists, but I think the local crowd probably couldn't wait - especially for a working lunch. Would def rec and return next time.
