Absolutely great of their signature dish. Came here during lunch time for their set menu. Heard their main shop/HQ is even better. Will go and try it out. The only thing is their dessert that comes with the set menu (as shown in the pic) taste pretty weird. 2 sticks of dessert one of which is a tofu that serves with a sweet & salty gravy . Other than that, its great.

Very rare Dojo-Nabe (boiled pot of Pond Loach) is the speciality of this restaurant. The taste is little bit complex to explain but it worth.

コロナ禍の影響でやむなく今月15日に閉店とのこと。残念です。「下町の味を山の手に」をコンセプトに半世紀近く渋谷で愛されて来たのに。
城下町のお店みたいな店内で、珍しい”どじょう”をたべれる。 どじょう鍋は、写真の通り薄い鉄板鍋にどじょうが並べられており、ネギをたっぷり載せ、好みで七味や山椒をかけて食べる。 どじょう鍋も、一緒についてるどじょう汁も、濃い目の味付けで、ご飯に合う。どじょうの泥っぽさは一切感じない。柔らかくて、小さなアナゴ系の食べ物。 どじょうの他にも珍しい食材を扱っているようで、コイの刺身を注文。しっかり下処理がされ、氷でよく冷やされているため、独特のくさみは一切感じず、されど(酢味噌をつけてたべる前提なので)コイ自体の味はよくわからない……。 なかなかお目にかかれない食材を食べるという経験をするにはぴったりのお店。
