Set within Castle Gardens Garden Centre, in-between Sherborne Old Castle and Sherborne (new) Castle, this lovely friendly cafe was the perfect pit stop! I enjoyed a full breakfast with pineapple juice then had some salted caramel ice cream as it was a very hot day! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - a hidden gem!

Excellent service, really nice and kind staff. The one star is to do only with the quality of the food. How can you spoil a jacket potato? Served tepid, hardly any butter and the cheese, well, it was grated outside the potato, a sad little pile of whitish cheese. I was like eating warm sawdust. And the macari cheese? Burnt, cold, no sauce and a doll's portion..... We want to support the locals, honestly we do. But eating there was a sad, poor affair. You can do way better!

This cafe has a lovely area to catch the sun as it's sheltered. The service is good and seems to comply with Covid standards. I have been a frequent visitor over the years as they serve a good variety of food although it's more limited at the moment. The garden could do with some tlc to make it more pleasant.

Lovely setting but very expensive now a days. Over priced themselves. Dont go there much anymore.
