A really great experience from start to finish for the selection and installation of our Heta multi-fuel stove. Whilst other companies were slightly cheaper, the warrantly on the flue was only for 1 year, wheras the flue installed by Envirostoves came with a 30 year warranty and when comparing like for like for the entire installation we could not find a better priced supplier/installer. Now we are 8 months on, mid-winter and we are loving having the lovely fire to look forward to every night.

We purchased a Heta stove from Envirostoves recently and are thrilled with it. The guys in the shop were all really knowledgeable and able to advise us on which stove would best fit our needs. Excellent service, would definitely use them again.

Received my Kestrel 5 multi fuel stove this morning. Luckily it was unpacked by the delivery driver, as we discovered the paint was defective/damaged. I contacted Envirostoves to report this issue. I explained that I would be happy to receive a small amount of money off the stove by way of compensation: enough to buy our installer a pint of beer or two to make up for him having to respray the damaged area. The manager informed me that the majority of their stoves will be paint damaged and that their policy is to send a tin of paint out to the customer so they repair it themselves. He went on to say he only makes 25 profit on this stove so he could not justify a 10 refund. Should I not find a tin of paint acceptable he would arrange for a refund and colection of the stove if I preferred, but would not supply a replacement. It is not company policy to offer a replacement apparently! I feel this is a very odd policy and I suspect that the majority, if not all of their stoves are seconds. I would definitely not recommend you buy from this company unless you are happy to accept substandard goods. I really wish we had paid a little extra and used a reputable company ... we've been left thinking we have been taken for fools.
