Great place for lunch or dinner. Staff very welcoming. Been a couple of times in the past few months, table service, all staff following social distancing & felt quite safe. Lovely food & great service.

I belive it could be a great place. The steak and sides were very good. We did not like having to pay extra for the sauces as we are use to them coming with the steak. The rating comes because of the Gaelic coffee ordered. We love to have Gaelic coffee after our meal at all restaurants. However, this was the worst ever. First we get a black coffee with no whisky (we know when whisky is in our coffee) served with a tub of milk. We let the waiter know that there was no alcohol and he takes it back. Then we get smaller cups with a shot of whisky and stirred in milk. If any of you have had a Gaelic /Irish coffee then you know this is not right. When we get our bill we notice that we were charged for 4 shots of whisky and the coffee. We didn't want to argue so just left. We will probably go back one day but know what to Avoid. Posting pictures of our receipt, both coffees, and the good steaks. Along with a really nice bottle of red wine.
Lovely, cosy atmosphere. Good food. Nice staff. What more could one want. A great refuge in our times of need!
Fit us in as a last minute booking with the kids. Food was lovely, service was fast and friendly. Lovely atmosphere, we would visit again!
Generic country style pub. Built to look rustic, but looks like any other generic country pub. There is nothing special about this pub, and it's half pub half restaurant, and unmemorable on both counts. But the staff are polite, friendly, efficient and try their hardest to be kind to customers. So whist the pub is like any other the staff are good, trying their best.... I doubt the pub owner, or the consortium who own this chain type pub have ever been here. Food was again generic, nothing special, but that's not the chefs fault, it's just what these type pubs offer. Anyway it's right next to premier inn, so it's convenient. Just don't expect too much and you'll be ok
