Food is excellent but the speed of service is awful. Always, and I mean ALWAYS, having to wait for one thing or another, especially chips, no matter what time of day. At peak times there are 6-7 people working behind the counter but this doesn't do anything in terms of keeping the line moving. 1pm today, just wanted a portion of chips - 2 people waiting having already ordered, only one person serving. Total time spent in shop 35 mins. If you're prepared to wait it's worth it, but if not...

I went dovehose chippy yesterday for lunch, and can say shelly farm is the better chippy for value and quality. I work near both chippys and will be going back to shelly farm.
ALWAYS find hair in my food whenever the lady with dark hair serves me, can’t bring myself to come here anymore I now drive all the way to Shelton or dovehouse- much nicer and hairless Sorry for the review but I just can’t bear hair in food

I've just had an INCREDIBLE chicken and salad kebab from here!!! Would highly recommend this place. My mom had the fish and chips and she found her meal very enjoyable too. The staff were friendly and accommodating and I was impressed with the organisation in regards to social distancing, was very assuring. Overalls
