Left a 3 star review yesterday but the shop was kind enough to reply with the facts of what actually happened. So here's my 5 stars because I still rent a bike from here once in a while and i have to say that the service is pretty good as well as the bikes - just make sure to give them a call before renting a bike, sometimes they're all rented (i.e. sunny days).

Had a problem with the cassette 20 mins before the train, all fixed and on the train.
A great and friendly service; helped me understand what was needed; and got my bike back into the condition to be on the road safely again. I recommend Russell's Bicycle Shed.
Once again, great service and price. My requirements sorted and fixed, and bike collected a few hours later. Thoroughly recommended to all.
Brought in my bike for a safety check. Found a couple of issues, upgraded to 6 monthly service option. Was lucky enough to be able to pick it up again 4 hours later. Special thank you to Monty for the light recommendation, after testing it is exactly what I was looking for.
