Nice little spot with waaaaaay too much to offer. I got great help from the staff and I have decided that my next purchase will have to be a dedicated astronomy camera - the ultimate question will be which one. Even over emails, they are prompt and courteous; more than accommodating to an onslaught of questions.
We bought a Sega Homestar Flux and discs on the website at an excellent price (20 cheaper than Amazon). It arrived the next day, well packaged, works perfectly. Our son is going to be very happy with this at Christmas. If you want stars on the ceiling - this is the thing to do it. Very impressed with Rother Valley Optics, highly recommended.
I made my first mail order from Rother Valley Optics yesterday, after checking that the item (a Celestron piggyback mount) was in stock. Adam informed me a few hours later that it had been sent off. It arrived well-packaged at lunchtime today. Keen prices. Great service!
Bit out of the way but well worth the trip! The guys at Rother Valley are very knowledgeable, friendly and great giving advice on all matters to do with telescopes. Prices are reasonable and their shop was like a grotto for all my favourite 'toys'. Telescopes a range or eyepieces, RC vehicles, and other spacey stuff.. Gadgets galore! Cheers chaps,
