Our house is 200 years old and had very poor storage radiators only in place, meaning that a completely new Heat Pump system needed to be installed throughout requiring new pipe work, radiators, shower, heat pump and tank. The installation was challenging for the installation team and they worked extremely hard to install the system despite meeting several issues with drilling into steelwork, different level floors and limited space between floors and in roof. System is working really well and we have a warm house at last

Our house was particularly complex to install an air source heat pump and it took some time to get the specifications right. The team who came to replace our entire central heating system and install the air source heat pump were highly efficient, completing the whole task in three days. We are delighted with the heating system - the house is really snug, even in the very cold weather we have had recently. I'd certainly recommend Greener Living to anyone who is looking to install an air source heat pump

If I could give minus numbers of stars I would. They are totally incompetent! They missold me an Air Source Heat Pump. Promising that my house would be as warm as it always had been. How wrong that was. They wired the system in wrong. They plumbed the system in wrong. They damaged my house. There were several leaks from pipework they fitted which damaged my kitchen ceiling. For three months from October to January, I had intermittent heating and hot water. The cost to run the system doubled to 20 per day. They didn't fit the meters needed to claim back the Government funding. There were so many issues I had to contact Vaillant's CEO (The manufacturer) and pay them to inspect the installation. who found countless errors. Poisonous Antifreeze leaked into my garden - so I had to keep my cats in and warn the neighbours. They ignored me for weeks and really didn't care that I was sitting in my house freezing cold with no hot water until I threatened legal action. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It has taken months to get a resolution, I've had the system decommissioned and a new gas boiler put in. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT BY INSTALLING ONE OF THESE AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS - I WOULD SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T. I was not able to have central heating on at the same time that the hot water was heating up and when it got too cold outside - all the system was doing was defrosting the heat pump outside while indoors was freezing cold and I had no hot water. IF YOU WANT MONTHS OF DRAMA THEN GREENER LIVING CAN OFFER THAT IN BUCKET LOADS.

Our Installation of the Mitsubishi 11.5kw Eco Dan ASHP was on the 4th and 5th January 2021 and it was cold. 2 installers travelled from Newcastle Upon Tyne to Stoke, they were on time, 8am, both days, full 11 hour days installing, both pleasant, professional in their work, tidy, knowledgeable and helpful, answering any queries as best they could. The equipment works a treat, our house is an extended semi detached house, we had a combi boiler, 13 radiators in the house, tiled flooring in hall and kitchen, wood floor in lounge and the house never felt warm, since the ASHP has been installed we have noticed the house is considerably warmer, keeping the temperature at 18 degrees in the day and knocking it down to 15 degrees at night, bearing in mind the last week has been pretty cold and due to lockdown the kids and wife are working from home, our electricity use does not seem unduly high (I've been taking readings daily, out of interest its averaging about 35kwh in a 24 hour period). Hot water is excellent, for a four person family, we have not had issues with hot water running out for showers and baths. Installation was very tidy, new radiators where needed were level and plumbed in tidily. All rubbish, scrapped boiler and radiators removed by the installers. repairs to loft hatch and brickwork where the boiler was done to a good standard. We will be having a secondary heat source installed in the form of a log burner at the end of this month and I have a feeling that the log burner and ASHP will complement each other in providing heat throughout the house. I would have no issue in recommending Greener Living for an Air Source Heat Pump installation and so long as future customers do their research on the system and don't expect it to work on demand like a Gas Boiler then they won't go wrong.
