Two huge drilling platforms with 547 ft legs at berth. They are waiting there until they get some work. Great site. I imagine they are lit up like Christmas trees at night. Short walk from Tesco car park. Can get a wheelchair quite near at the end of the sea wall. Ramp is on a pelican crossing towards the Dockyard seaward wall.

You can't get to the fort. The port has erected a fence blocking access. Nice walk along the sea front though.
Beautiful area, peaceful and great for walking
It's really beautiful here although the ruins are kind of small and not a lot to watch or learn here
