I have been with sheards for almost 30 years which alone speaks for itself but I would also like to add the I have always had great service and prompt attention to anything I have needed to discuss. Above all else though is the confidence I feel from the whole team ,Lyn on reception is usually my first point of contact and my confidence in Sheards starts here and is carried throughout the practice. Carolyn and the team at Sheards have dealt with our business accounts since we started trading in 2011. With me being someone who always tries to do everything himself, It took me a long time to make the decision to outsource my company accounts to an accountant. However, I knew that when the time came it was always going to be Sheards Accountants that I would turn to. Having provided staff photography for many years for Sheards it enabled me to get to know the team and how they worked. Everyone always seemed friendly and efficient and with the impending moves from HMRC to make tax digital which Sheards were clearly on top of; the choice to use Sheards was a no brainer. Sheards advocated to me that I should use Quickbooks as an accounting software which they provide as one of their packages. I duly signed up and I can't stress enough how fantastic this has been. My book keeping now takes less than half the time it used to and helps alleviate the stress and worry of completing your own accounts can bring. Coupled with the knowledge of having the Sheards team always on hand to help, the transformation was straightforward and simple. Come the end of the tax year and Sheards duly completed my accounts for self assessment and organised a meeting with me just to check everything was correct and to see if there was anywhere that more tax could be saved. Much to my delight at this meeting Carolyn at Sheards discovered that there was in fact more tax that could be saved. Immediately, my accounts were duly adjusted whilst I was still in the meeting and made ready for submission to HMRC. To say I was impressed was an understatement and gives me even more confidence (not that I needed any) that my accounts are with the right company. Handing my accounts over to Sheards now saves me time, money, & stress and the advice they can give you as a small business owner is invaluable in taking the business forward in this digital age! Now when I think about my accounts it is with a smile on my face as I know Sheards have my back, truly the smiling face of accountancy!

Great team, Iv'e been with them for over 25 years, you don't have to wait ages for some one to answer the phone and listen to a load of rubbish, a big plus these days.
