Super place to find a bargain. They have ex display, returns, end of lines this kind of thing. Have bought a few pieces of furniture from here over the years and even though its over an hour to get there from where we live, I would definitely go back again. Great choice, good prices and friendly staff. Check this place out if you're looking for nice furniture at a reasonable price.

I saw some great furniture but some of it was a bit battered and I think they were making room for a new delivery as it was apparently smaller than last time and they curtained a large sectioned off. I have been told it is usually great there selection wise with more sofas
My daughter recommended them and having seen her dining table, paid a visit. Good quality at reasonable prices. Have bought several items from here and very satisfied. Circular dining table and chairs was an excellent buy. Well worth a visit.
Spencer Shaw has a lot of very nice furniture at fantastic prices. Sadly however, the staff over promise and massively under deliver. Was really impressed by the service levels in store, being told our bed would be ready for the weekend we moved into the new house. Rather than pay an extortionate delivery charge, we opted to collect the bed that weekend. I was specifically told if I paid for the mattress by x date, it would be all ready for collection 5 or so days later (the same time we collected the bed) two weeks later and multiple phone calls to their store which were left unanswered, the mattress was ready to be collected. I don’t like to slander local, independent business, however after no apology for failure to deliver their promise, they sent the incorrect screws along with the bed. After badgering Ian for multiple weeks, he sent the ‘correct screws’ over. Arrived this morning and although we specifically pointed out what was missing from the instruction Manual (we didn’t get one, we found one online), the wrong screws and washers were sent yet again. I consider the bed and mattress to be very good value for money, however why bother buying independently when you might as well go to a big retailer and get everything done correctly. It’s a poor look for Spencer Shaw and I do hope that their service levels after sale are not like this for all of their customers.
Wonderful place. If you can't find anything you like in here then you are hard to please. Staff lovely and helpful.
