Me and my brother came down here from bellsmill after it froze over with a split decision of going home or trying somewhere else I spotted shatterford lakes on Google maps. Me and my brother Chris both agreed it would be worth having ago. We called up, and instantly had a friendly vibe from the owner Tom. When we arrived Tom showed us the lakes and we settled on one Due to the very cold snowy weather the fishing was unsuccessful. BUT! Because of the kindness we got we were 100% certain we wanted to return with the potential of fish that were there and just picturing what the place would be like in the summer/spring time. we are now buzzing for the 2021 warmer months. And can't wait to return Tom if your reading this thank you for the experience we can't wait to return :) - Alfie and Chris

One of the best day's fishing in a while 7 fished and over 300lb weighed in. Can not understand why more people are not using the place. Fish in excellent condition.

Excellent set up plenty of fish in the lakes a nice place visually as well set on a steep sided valley nice and quiet and, secure.
It was my first time at the Fishery yesterday I was due to go to bells mill but the lake was frozen over so i called Tom at shatterford to see if he had any spaces for 24 hours for 2, he said come on over we'll sort something for you. I was immediately impressed with the way Tom was on the phone I even said to my brother after the call that he sounded like a really nice chap,as soon as we arrived I was blown away by how friendly Tom was and how beautiful the fishery was! We had an over nighter and didn't catch but thats what fishing is all about this time of the year! We will be coming back again soon for sure and tom if you read this message your a great lad and I hope all goes well for you in the future you deserve it!
