Love my church
I went to Freedom Church this past Friday night when Jamie Ragle was there. I was by myself. I didn't know anyone. I went there a few years or so ago for a short period of time. Friday night I was pretty down in the dumps and was looking forward to hearing Jamie. It was obvious that I was alone and nobody knew me. There was no welcome, no one spoke to me, outside of a man who sat down to my left for a few minutes only, and commented about a stool being used as a table. No welcome or anything. That's it. Everyone just talked to their friends. I have never felt so alone in a church setting. After 1/2 hour I left feeling worse than when came. I had saw on Facebook that Jamie was coming there and couldn't wait to go. What a huge disappointment. I have never felt so alone in a church. My experiences at other churches have always been quite the opposite! I was going to go today to hear Jamie preach, but after Friday, I won't be back.
This a great church with kind, friendly authentic people. You will be comfortable and welcomed here as you grow in your faith. Great job Pastor Rob, and all the staff and volunteers!
What a great place to worship. Pastor Rob White is truly a man of God. Very welcoming.
