Must be in my top 5 fish eats in the country ( and I've eaten a fair few!) Chips were stunning. My haddock beautiful. Others had cod which was also gorgeous. All from a takeaway in this difficult time. Truly amazing as it took a few minutes to walk to the accommodation.....

Nice and fresh. We had two small portions. Not too many bits in the chips. Ketchup is too expensive at 45p a sachet. No way to wipe out side seating but ok considering. Oh we were asked to \ empty the tray\ upon arrival. But she must have put it on there so seems a bit daft. We will go again.
My partner and I ate here earlier in the week the food and the service was great, As I have coeliac disease (severe gluten intolerance ) The staff explained which items I could or couldn’t eat due to cross contamination. However as it was our last day we chose to eat here again, when arriving and asking for a gluten free cod and chips (the exact dish I was served two days prior) I was told I couldn’t have this due to both gluten free and regular items being cooked in the same oil which they specified earlier in the week that they didn’t do, when using the same Oil for these items they contaminate the fryer leaving me unable to eat and the restaurant realistically unable to offer “gluten free” until the fryer has been cleaned as there is no point using gluten free batter and then contaminating it.
Decent fish and chips, you can sit and watch the boats by the harbour to eat them or sit in Sharon's garden and have a glass of wine or beer (at 3 a pint!) to accompany your food.
the best fish and chips take away in the UK you will find there and at a very reasonable price. I'm not a big fish and chips fan but that's the best I have ever had. Will highly recommend going there if you are out there.
