Solid Indian restaurant . Been here a few times and never had a bad meal. It's no frills but exactly what you want, tasty food, usual favourites. I'll be back again for sure.

Without a doubt not only the best Indian food, but the best food generally and the loveliest staff in Lewes. The curries are so delicious and not oily in the slightest (my pet hate) and contain so many fresh, thoughtful ingredients. The Dillkoosh is my absolute favourite, so scrumptious!
Very let down with this place. Staff seem very friendly - but the curry was tasteless and watery. Pompedoms tasted of pure oil and over all very dissatisfied. Was expecting better from all of the brilliant reviews.
Been eating at The Shanaz in Lewes on a regular basis for around 25 years and Ali has his team constantly provide an awesome meal with very friendly service and are always willing to provide and accommodate individual suggestions if you want to try something a little different.
Best restaurant in Lewes. Delicious food!!! Great service from the person who took the reservation to everyone in the house. We'll definitely be back.
