Had a Valentine's take away lunch which was exceptional. Both the lamb and pork were tender and very tasty. Five vegetables, two different potatoes plus Yorkshire pudding & gravy. Hot & well presented, simply the best Sunday lunch for a very long time. Would really recommend it.

Brilliant restaurant with great service. We dined off the 'Beat the Clock' menu which offers two courses for 12 between 5-6.30 pm. I chose the black pudding bon bons for starters and the beef pie for mains; both were excellent.
Simply the best food anywhere in Horncastle and a long long way around the area... The service is first class and the local celebrity chef/owner is a really really nice guy... We have ordered our Sunday lunches in advance this week, after the last takeaway left us like #joshuavpulev KO.
Had a great meal from Shakesby's last night. Belly pork for hubby and I had the Salmon, with all the trimmings. Takeaway service works well with timed collections. Hopefully have room for pudding next time. 5stars highly recommend
