Nice place to walk the dogs but the facilities are non existent, the toilets have been closed for years.
A lovely place to stroll around, especially if you have a dog. It's only 1.5 miles on a nice flat, fairly even surface. Highly recommend a meal & a drink at The Grey Greyhounds next door beforehand - then the mere is perfect to walk it off!

Nice place for a walk but as we were looking for tranquility it wasn't for us. The noise from the motorway was horrendous.
