Delivery was quick but food very disappointing. Very small portion sizes, never seen such a little naan! Biryani rice was ok but the veg curry with it had no flavour and was just grease. Had to heat food in microwave as it was not hot. Wouldn't recommend

Very freindly and fantastic food
we have recently moved back to Andover and decided to give Shah Raj a go. Disappointed to say the least. 40mins to get poppadoms, then 45 mind to get starter which for mine was bland. waited a further 30mims and main still didn't arrive. my wife way getting tired and quite fed up so I said just go home and I will ask for take out for main. and a further10 min. And got home opened up and have just four pieces of chicken and a bunch of onions and sauce. yes we were discounted 10%, And his excuse staff refused to travel down from London due to covid. Really! never again awful dining experience first night out.
Have eaten in a number of times and always been impressed with the quality of food and the service provided. Ordered a takeaway this evening and the food came on time and was delicious.
Looked at the reviews on this restaurant and decided to order a takeaway last night. Was really disappointed with our chicken tikka masala and chicken korma. The sauces were really bland, and tasted watery. There was water left in the bowl after we'd finished eating. To be honest the only reason I can think for this is that they were frozen, and not cooked fresh to order. Will not be using them again.
