My wife has just been made to feel like dirt in this pharmacy, she was looked up and down and repeatedly questioned about her maternity exemption for prescription payment. She was mearly trying to get a prescription she is entitled to and needed and was treated with such contempt. I am horrified my wife has been made to feel this way. AVOID THIS PHARMACY

Having moved house several times for work purposes I have naturally had to change GP etc each time and it follows too with my local Pharmacy. I chose Shadforths this time , in Billericay. To me they are the very best Chemists I have ever been to, bar none. It is a very busy place, I imagine or would hope because others share my view, but that said they are efficient, attentive friendly no customer is left waiting without good cause. To most of us a Pharmacy is a Pharmacy. We put in our prescriptions and wait, take our meds and go. At Shadforths you are greeted with a smile. Without exception each member of staff gives you time. They listen, I would consider that alone as part of healing. Billericay is a Town by Charter. Shadforths is just as you would expect in a much smaller caring community. A thoroughly professional practice. yet, almost family.
The staff, particularly the pharmacist, are superb and always willing to answer any health related questions. Also great range of unusual gift ideas.
