What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in the time of Corona! Strawberry season is EXTREMELY short and I always manage to miss it each year. Given the times, travel has been on hold (personal and professional) allowing us to find more local fare to enjoy! This little farm was about an hour out of Philly but mostly a straight shot as far as the drive is considered. Upon arrival, we made our way down the dirt road and found close parking to the strawberry bushes. The attendants working were all very helpful in explaining the process, and I appreciated them practicing good hand hygiene with on site sink to wash your hands before picking. We all also had our own lanes to stay in for picking to help maintain the distancing. The strawberries were ripe for picking and plenty to go around! The weather was great and we loaded up our cartons to enjoy fresh strawberries for weeks! We planned to also freeze some to help extend the shelf life. There's a full market place also on site where all the veggies/fruits grown on site is sold - great way to support local! Definitely worth the drive - had a berry good time!

Great place for kids at Halloween and the farm market is nice to visit any time. For Halloween, they have hayrides with pumpkin picking, pony rides, a hay maze, a smaller hayride for toddlers and babies and of course, a HUGE selection of all kinds other pumpkins and gourds to choose from for carving and painting.

A quaint little family farm market, that's been in business that I know of for at least 40yrs. Their a little pricey but they have a fresh homemade bakery and a deli and fresh fruit and veggies

Duffield's is a great place to stop with the kids. You can grab what you need inside quickly, then visit the animals and play in the play area. Everyone is happy.

Duffields Farm and Hayride for the pumpin picking was great. Wasn’t packed. Still has enough room to stay 6ft away from others the whole time. I will say, I’ve been to several others, including Johnson’s farm. I grew up by duffields so I’ll always love and support it. That’s being said- everything was just about it the same as far as the two places I’ve been on this/last year for hayrides. Johnson’s farm was a lot bigger and longer. Which could be a pro or a con depending on the situation. Duffields this year, didn’t have many options to choose from. All basically the same exact size pumpkins in the picking field. Up front they did have the oddly shaped pumpkins if that’s your thing. Long story short. You def get your money worth and it’s an awesome time if u enjoy family time. I however- LOVE my family time. I encourage everyone to try this farm. Good times.
