Ordered from these before and not had a problem, although on a weekend. I ordered this Tuesday night. After I put down the phone it was delivered in 16 mins. It's 10 minutes away so that meant, 1/4 duck, 3 main dishes and egg fried rice were cooked and packaged in 6 mins...My guess was right, it was re-heated/microwaved. When it arrived it was nuclear/microwave hot/still cooking. The re-heated shredded duck was tough, chewey and dry (although microwave hot). The main dishes had congeiled sauces that had curdled and were lumpy & watery (the moisture from the veg etc had steamed up the tub in the microwave and resulted in a lot of water in the tubs which I'm guessing probably didn't help). The rice was stuck in one lump, like yesterdays chinese. Who knows when this was first cooked, maybe from the weekend previous... just Nasty. When I called to complain, they refused to pick it up and give me a refund, instead essentially told me to lump it. Will not use again. p.s. I only ate 2 hoisin rolls with the duck which made me feel ill the next day. Having dished up some of the main course, the food on the photos was pushed aside to show the congealed watery sauces, I didn't eat any of that.. all in the bin!
Absolutely lives up to to the name. 10/10 lady on the phone was brilliant, food got here quickly and piping hot. And the lady delivering was lovely. All in all I think I've found a new number one Chinese.
Good food and reasonable priced, however they always out time delivery by up to over an hour or more and I dont want it in an hour and a half, 30 mins yeah but... so I always end up collecting, and when I say I will collect it is never ready even 5 minutes before or even if I delay calling 5 minute after they say..not the best in the world...not so sure I will be going there anymore....
Great food and reasonably priced
