Sevanavank is a monastic complex located on a peninsula at the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan in Armenia. \The Blue Pearl of Armenia\ is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world. Overlooking the lake, the Sevanavank monastery ruins are a beautiful and historically significant destination just a few hours north of Armenia's capital, Yerevan.

Perfect place to enjoy the sunset. The view of the vast Sevan lake is beautiful and serene. Be prepared to climb a number of stairs to reach the monastery and then a small trek on the hill to get to the viewpoint, which is a task especially during the colder times.

The church is overseeing Sevan lake very nicely! The view is just breath-taking. The church is not big as it seems to be the custom, but very quaint..

This place will be very much appreciated only during fair weather and we're lucky to have it.

The beauty and grandeur of this hope place is unparalleled. The views are breathtaking. I loved this place and could have spent a day here exploring the area. Lots of places to buy souvenirs. And I've cream. This is very important especially in the summer. Go and sit a while. Listen to the spirit of the place. Know the shalom of Christ.

The best view of the Sevan lake in Armenia is seen from here. The church is so nice and humble for the scenery. I visited the place seeing great photos in internet, it never disappointed me, as it looked more beautiful in real.

Beautiful. Simple beautiful. Another amazing site in Armenia. Great 360 views of Sevan lake. Was there in late April and it was still a little cold and it tends to be very windy due to the location so make sure you bring a jacket with you. Very beautiful location. Difficult parking at the bottom but worth it even on a busy day. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.
