Excellent food, great value, nice people. Tellingly plenty of customers or Japanese. It's not as well-known as it should be so you can always get a seat.
Book ahead for a Friday or Saturday! Don’t expect fancy decor because that’s not what this place is about. There are lots of Japanese people eating here which is always a good sign. You cannot miss the gyozas and spicy tuna rolls! Really good value. Highly recommend.
good cheap small Japanese restaurant, highly recommend come for lunch for their set meals for about 10. their teriyaki salmon and gyozas are very good. staff are very friendly too.
Entered the shop at 12:25 and ordered immediately. Asked the staff at 12:55 to see how much longer I needed to wait and was told that it’ll be ANOTHER 10 minutes. A 40-minute wait for a SASHIMI rice bowl is absolutely ridiculous. If the kitchen can’t accommodate the number of customers, either hire more staff or at least please let the customers know that you’re anticipating a 40 minute wait so that they can choose whether to stay or not before they started waiting. I had to leave and munch on cold sandwich back in my office after a 20-minute walk to and back and 30-minute wait.
