I felt like I took a time machine as there are a lot of oldness from Jaekidong station in a hood way. A lot of seniors, people from all over Korea to get the oriental/herbal medicine. Crowded, hard to get around, pretty much no English signs, but I say it is worth for you to try visiting once to see so many crazy/weird/never seen before kind of stuff. It was also a good experience for me and i am willing to go back at times.

You can find lots of ginseng here. The korean old men or ajjushi will stare at you like hell. But yeah that's the norm in Korea. I did buy some deer horn. They said its for masculine powers but that made me laugh! Really should try these medicines as I saw a 70 year old Korean Man doing pushups on the street and had biceps like a 25 year old. That's just too much! They also sell dried fish on the street. The smell is awful..
