3rd oldest cable car in the Europe, you can't miss that. Everything is old school with cabins started to old Windows XP computers operating the cable car ending. Even though it is over 60 years old, cabins run smoothly and fast. The view from Zwölfhorn is perfect! Price 26 euro per return ride is equal to the area. Children under 5 years are free and you can take closed baby stroller with you to the cabin.

The Seilbahn Zwoelferhorn gondola is a long ride up to the top.The gondola ride was an unique experience. The views from the gondola itself, are amazing. It is worth it, do it, even if you fear heights, like I do, you won't feel it.

Absolutely stunning landscape. This has got to feature on everyone’s itinerary to the Salzburg region. The alpine meadows and the breathtaking backdrop of the lakes and the excitement of the cable car ride up the mountain will bring even the grumpiest of persons to smile openly. And to see the paraglider soar over your head is a sight to behold. The queue to the cable car can be a little frustrating but once in the cable car, you are willing to forgive the few minutes of inconvenience and ready to take in the glorious views

If you want to climb the mountain easily, you have to get on the cable car. While going up, you can see awesome views there.

offer great experience, worth to visit. Be prepared to wait a time for ascending and descending, especially in weekend or when is crowdy. Gondolas are small, for only 4 peoples.

Great views from the top, but the system is very old and not quick enough by modern standards. Might be be great when less busy, but queuing for 45 mins to go up and a further 20 mins to come down is not good enough. Not suitable for purpose in today's world.
