It is a small take away outlet which serves Parsi cuisine. I ordered patra ni machchi, parsi baked custard, wheat parsi roti, Butter parsi roti, parsi bhagara rice, mutton dhansak dal and parsi kebab. It cost me a total of 500 rupees. The kebabs are super tasty with a unique flavour and shaped like meat balls. The bhagara rice is a bit bland but when you add salad and dhansak dal it becomes super tasty. The fish is tasty with lots of coconut paste on top but I would have preferred eating it hot.

Dhansak – A Persian originated dish gets its way to western India by Persians, centuries ago (during religious refuge moment) that has evolved over years with a major influence of Gujarati condiments. Often made on Sundays in Parsi Homes as the traditional preparation involves laborious whole day process with the primary ingredient being Meat (Lamb), Vegetables, four varieties of lentils, Dhansak masala (a special masala which mostly tends to be sweeter & aromatic, however, it changes from home to home playing around ratios ). Not any more.. Thanks to pressure cookers. Unlike dishes that associate importance with auspicious days, this one is usually made on the fourth day of death concluding grief as there is no meat cooked for three days after the death of near ones. Dhansak often paired with Parsi Brown rice, a rice preparation close to Hyderabadi bagara rice but gets the brownish texture with sugar and caramelized onions. After my experience with #Dhansak at SodaBottleOpenerWala I was looking for other decent places that serve it and finally ended up at PARSI BAWA, Secunderabad a kiosk kind of setup with two to three seats, partnered with Zomato, Swiggy for online delivery. Ordered Chicken Dhansak thali that comes with Vegetarian Dhansak added with chunks of chicken cooked separately (not the traditional way of cooking along), Parsi Brown rice, Mutton Kavabs, Salad. Everything tasted good and enjoyed the overall meal. BTW like their Facebook page and get a brownie free. It's very small shop hardly two people sitting, quick delivery, they give offers on pizzas but taste wise very poor. Worthless, located just opposite to Max store paradise street, Secunderabad.
