Very nicely laid out and open air. There are enough vendors with a lot of variety, fresh fish and meats. You also get all the great breakfast treats like You Tiao and Fried Carrot Cake.

The groceries are reasonable and fresh. They sell steamboat ingredients, fruits, vege, fish, chicken, Chinese spices, pork and some snacks like the pork nasi lemak is good. The apum balik is good. But I always come here for the chao lo bak kou. It’s nice!
New mural painting makes the place look more appealing. Good hygiene maintenance here. Friendly hawkers

Good place for grocery shopping. Lots of stalls selling fresh produce and food. Better to park at the basement of Seventeen. It only costs RM1 for 2 hours. So convenient, instead of parking illegally around the area creating a nuisance for others. Many eateries around the area too
As recommended by a resident, went for curry laksa at one of the stalls. They serve vegetarian options and gave alot of taupok and fuchuk for the same price. Worth the money and it's delicious! It's the 3rd or 4th stall that also sells yong tau fu, next to the Indian stall. Do try if you are there.
The market has been here for years. It's still very much vibrant. Now that there is a roof, weather element is moderated. Previously, each shop had their own umbrella. Also, the market is organized. The front section is for the hawker. Middle section is for clothes and fruits, vegetables. Side is for meat and back for non-halal.
This morning queque very long and slow. Was quequing from eggs & meat side. After 1 hr 15 minutes I gave up quequing. I hope tomorow is better.
