The most beautiful little hideaway cafe in the centre of Newark. Truly a secret garden! Go through the art gallery to get to the cafe at the back. Lovely outdoor and indoor seating. We enjoyed a lovely hot drink while we watched the birds enjoy the bird feeder and listened to the trees swish in the breeze. Also very autism friendly as there is lots of space between the chairs and no loud music so I didn't find it overwhelming.

Me and my husband visited secret garden today. We asked for afternoon tea but was told that you have to book but the ladies kindly told us with it been quieter then usual they would prepare it for us any way which was lovely. The afternoon tea was delicious. We ordered a extra latte and a milk but when we came to pay the bill they did not charge me for the extra drinks I thought my husband had paid for these seperate but when my husband mentioned the drinks they said they classed it as a refill. Excellent customer service and would highly recommend. They also have some nice gardens to sit out in when weather nice
Really like this place. Tucked away in a tranquil spot, great for relaxing, working, chatting and the coffee is always excellent. I haven't eaten here but the food always looks great.
